Big Shark Bicycle Co.
From an American audio equipment store Hi-Fi-Fo-Fum (born at the dawn of the Hi-Fi era in the mid 20th century) to a modern bicycle shop for tenant Big Shark Bicycle Company. The building was originally constructed in the 1930’s as an automobile showroom and repair facility and later converted to the legendary Hi-Fi-Fo-Fum store that holds a special place in the hearts of many St. Louisans.
Third Man Development acquired the property in 2016 and completely renovated the historic structure, evoking the yesteryear style of STP racing with its powder blue color and orange racing stripes. Big Shark Bicycle Company, another St. Louis cultural icon, occupies the site for its retail sales and special events headquarters.
